Tips to score high in Quantitative Aptitude
Quantitative Aptitude is one of the toughest but scoring sections of any of the competitive job exams such as SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, IBPS CLERK. IBPS PO, etc. All it needs is a thorough learning and practice of basics of mathematics to solve the questions accurately and quickly. Speed and accuracy are the key factors to score high in mathematics.
Every candidate puts in the right efforts yet one needs a proper direction to acquire efficiency and proficiency while preparing for the quantitative aptitude section for SSC CHSL exam or any other exam.
There are certain tips to follow to master the concepts and basics of mathematics these are:
- Analysis of Syllabus should be done by visiting the official notification and note down the topics to be studied for the exam.
- Buy a study material from a reputed publication or written by the professional subject expert of mathematics. The book prepared by them is based on the latest exam pattern and syllabus which helps in the proper preparation of the exam.
- Question paper analysis of last five to ten years question papers should be done to know the topics being asked. Prepare them according to the weight age given to each topic in the various question papers. It will also let you know the difficultly level of the examination.
- To make the targeted exam preparation one should know the strong and weak topics of the subject. The syllabus of mathematics is based on the higher secondary level.
